No. You can order the RAD60 pre-programmed, however, you can only pre-program one additional setting, such as 25mR. However, if you change that alarm level to the defaults again, you lose the pre-programmed alarm setting.

Hi Mr. Tuan, We have since discontinued that model and no longer manufacture The Inspector. We now offer The Ranger in its place. If yuo let me know your final destination, I can provide you with a local distributor for pricing and availability.

You should get about 10-20 counts per minute just from background with the Monitor 4. This means that you should get 10-20 flashes of the LED, or flash and beep if it's in audio mode. If you are getting a good battery and nothing when you put it up to a source, it could be a bad tube.

Yes, you can. There is no issue using a Lithium batteries in our detectors instead of alkaline.

Dear Sir, What would be the X-Ray sensitivity factor in cpm/mR/hr? Is it similar to the gamma sensitivity of 3,500 cpm per mR/hr? Thanks. Sincerely, Cliff

Hi Cliff, X-rays and Gamma are treated the same by the detector. The difference comes in with the pulse width of the X-ray itself. If the pulse width is smaller than the dead time of the tube (15 microseconds for the SentryEC), then you might miss some of the counts. Otherwise, you can use the Gamma Energy Response graph on the SentryEC page to find your answer for specific energies. https://seintl.com/sentry-ec

You can do this one of two ways. You can turn on the data logging via the Utility Menu on the unit itself. You can access the Utility Menu by holding down the plus button while powering on your detector. Set the date and time first, then turn on the recording feature. You can also turn on the data logging with the Observer USB Software by syncing the time and date of your computer and turning on the data logging via the Cal Panel.

We recommend yearly calibrations, although our instruments hold a stable calibration and rarely need adjusting.
